Obituary for Hildegarde R. Leubner (Bailey)

Hildegarde R. Leubner, 74, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Thursday March 24, 2016 at The Centers at St. Camillus due to complications from Alzheimer's. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of W. Genesee High School. She loved to garden and tend to her flowers and also travel and spend time with her family. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Bailey and brother John Bailey.
Hildegarde leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years Rainer; her children Ed (Annie) Leubner of Liverpool, Eric (Laura) Leubner of Syracuse and Lisa (Kevin) Cashman of Danvers, MA; mother Hilda Bailey and grandchildren Lauren, Eric, Sarah and Max.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday March 30 at the Church of St. Michael and St. Peter, Onondaga Hill. The Rite of Committal will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Marcellus. Friends may call on the family from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday March 29 at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or The Centers at St. Camillus.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff at The Centers at St. Camillus for their care and compassion.
