Obituary for Mary Michaels

Mary Marko Michaels, 97, of Auburn died Wednesday January 13, 2016 at Auburn Community Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Michaels was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late William and Anna Fesio Marko. She was a graduate of Auburn Schools, and Auburn Business School. She retired in 1985 from the City of Auburn where she served as secretary to the City Manager. She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, and a member of the St. Marian Sisterhood.
She is survived by her son Gregory Michaels of Auburn, two grandchildren Jacob and Marki
Michaels and her sister Anna Tierney. She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2005, her son Mark in 1963, and her sisters Helen Jaros and Margaret Luthy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Michaels will be at 9 A.M. Saturday from the Plis Funeral Home, and 9:30 A.M. in St. Nicholas Church. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre.
Friends are invited to call Friday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State Street.
