Obituary for Mary Nodzo Rusinko

Mary Nodzo Rusinko, 91, formerly of Cross St., Auburn, died Thursday November 19, 2015, at the Commons on St. Anthony.
Mrs. Rusinko was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late John and Tillie Danchak Nodzo. She was a retired employee of Dunn-McCarthy, a communicant of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, and a member of the St. Marian Sisterhood at the church.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Carole Mills, Patricia Lovell, Diane (David) Chayka, Linda (Michael) Ford, Debbie (Michael) Oster, Marty (Ellen) Nodzo, Bob (Mary) Nodzo, and Tom Tenity. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Julie Nodzo, and dear friends Mary Ann Gera, and Renee Sovyrda. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Steven Rusinko in 1990, her sisters Ann Scott and Julie Festa, her brother Martin Nodzo, and niece Kathy Tenity.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rusinko will be at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday from the Plis Funeral Home, and 10 A.M. in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre. Friends are invited to call Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St.
Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Nicholas Church.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Commons at St. Anthony, for the wonderful care that they gave to Mary.
