Obituary for Clementine H. Wojnar

Clementine H. Wojnar, of Auburn, died Monday October 12, 2015 at the Pines Nursing Home in Glens Falls, NY.
Born in Auburn on January 7, 1926 she was one of ten children born to Emil and Rose Halanich Sawaryn. She was a graduate of Auburn Central High School, class of 1944, and attended Auburn Community College. She began her working career at International Harvester, and also worked as a executive secretary at Red Star Express lines and ALCO Power. In her retirement Clem enjoyed golfing, cooking, playing the piano and gardening. She was a communicant of SS Peter & Paul Church.
She is survived by her son Robert D. Wojnar Sr. of Auburn her daughter Deborah A. (Chas) Ackley of Queensbury, NY her sister Pauline Kaczmar of Auburn, grandchildren Robert D. (Lisa) Wojnar II of Greensboro, NC and Jennifer Wojnar of Auburn, great grandchildren Jack, Riley Anne, Noah and Sage Wojnar, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Chester J. Wojnar in 2003, her parents, sisters Mary Mosley, Amelia Rolince, Elizabeth McGee, Ann Wilson and Constance Morris, and her brothers Myron, Anthony and William Sawaryn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wojnar will be at 9:30 A.M. Saturday at the Plis Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Friday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St., Auburn.
Contributions may be made in her memory to the SS Peter & Paul Renovation Fund.
