Obituary for Anna K. Griffin

Anna K. Griffin, 93 of Syracuse passed away peacefully Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Loretto. Born in Waterloo to the late John and Rebecca Arndt, Anna was a wonderful and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved to spend time with her family. She co-owned Griffin Oil Co., with her late husband Harry. She also loved bowling, playing golf and going to the family camp. Besides her husband she was also predeceased by her great grandson Griffin Engle.
Anna is survived by her daughter Gale (Elvin) Katura of Scipio Center, NY; sons James (Cathy) of Hancock, NY and Herb (Rita) of Marcellus. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services for Anna will be 5 p.m. Saturday June 13 at the Plis Funeral Home. Calling hours will be from 3-5 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Griffin's Guardians, PO Box 1661 Cicero, NY 13039.
