Obituary for Pauline C. Frost

Pauline C. Frost, 94, of Marcellus passed away Monday November 10, 2014 at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Born in Marcellus to the late Willard and Lois Pople, she worked on the family farm with her husband Jesse. Pauline was a member of the Marcellus United Methodist Church and was very active in several church groups. She loved canning, baking and making quilts; she also loved to help out her neighbors and family with anything they needed at any time. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Jesse in 2002.
Pauline is survived by her daughters Emma Maher, Rose Anne Stemples, Esther Lynch and Norma Jeanne Frost; Sons Harold and Ronald (Cheryl) Frost; 6 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was also blessed by 2 wonderful caregivers Jill Frezzo and Janet Norris.
Service for Pauline will be 11 a.m. Friday Nov. 14 at the Marcellus United Methodist Church, 1 Slocombe Ave., Marcellus. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery. Friends and family may call on the family from 4-7 p.m. Thursday November 13 at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Marcellus United Methodist Church or Hospice of CNY.
