Condolence From: Erica (Pepperman) Ornoski
Condolence: To the Gambell Family.... I was sadden to just hear of the recent loss of a terrific lady! I remember going over to the Gambell's house when I was a little girl with my grandparents (Myron and Gloria Pepperman). There was many games of pitch played and lots of laughs between them. I remember sitting in the living room with my grandfather and York and watching episodes of The Benny Hill show. Dorothy and York were guests at my wedding in 2005 and we acknowledged them as the "Longest Married Couple" there. It was so sweet they were there to share my day as my grandparents had just recently passed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family....Im sure they are all up there still playing their card games--On Behalf of The Peppermans

Condolence: Mrs. Gambell was so sweet. I remember her from high school where I spent a lot of time in the Guidance Office helping out. She was always fun, and was very kind and sweet to everybody who walked through the door. I am very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Dorothy was a neighbor and good friend of our family for many years. She and York were part of the "gang" that my parents socialized with. I remember fondly the picnics at the Ponderosa, beach trips to Sandy Creek up route 81, and card parties.
After my dad died in 1979 Dorothy took my mom under her wing and always was in touch and always included my Mom in outings.
I last visited Dorothy on March 28 and we had a good time reminiscing. She was a great lady and will be missed.

Condolence: Carol and Nancy, Sorry we can't send a card as we don't know your addresses. We are still in Florida so will not be able to say goodbye to your Mom. Talked to her several times throughout the winter and know she was ready to go so easier to let her go. Glad Carol took her new job and didn't pass it up. Will always remember the cannon and the 4th of July with them.

Condolence: Dear Carol and Nancy, Ed and I were so sad to hear the news about the death of your mother. I will always remember the softball games they attended, the cannonball and when you and your mom came over for lunch. She just loved our Boston Terriers. What a wonderful life to have lived until 90 !

Condolence: Nancy and Carol,
My husband, George, and I would like to extend our condolences to you on the death of your mother.
We have been working on genealogy for the last few years. Your great-great grandfather, John York Sr., was my great grandmother\'s, Lydia York Masters\', uncle as William York was her father. The same John York\'s second wife, Leleah Masters, was an older sister of my great-grandfather, Fred Masters.
