Obituary for Christopher R. Austin

Christopher R. Austin, 59, of Tully passed away Sunday November 3, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born in Syracuse, he was an avid skier. Chris owned and operated Austin Plumbing in Syracuse. He was predeceased by his father Floyd, sister Nancy Baran and brother Timothy.
Chris is survived by his daughter Allison (Mark) Dingman of Tully; sons Eric (Amy) of Manlius and Brian (Meghan Wickman) of Cicero and 2 grandsons Riley and Logan Dingman. He is also survived by his long time companion Susan Wuster; mother Leila Austin; sisters Susan Hunter, Virginia Austin and Maureen (Arthur) Ogden; brothers James (Terri), George and Matthew and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday November 8 at Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God Church, 450 Wilkinson St., Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Otisco. Friends may call on the family from 4-7 p.m. Thursday November 7 at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
