Condolence: I am saddened to hear of Dr. Alexander's passing. I was a young grad student at ESF and had the privilege of interating with him for a year prior to his retirement. Since then, we've crossed trails on several occasions and he was always eager to catch up with me. We shared many similar interests (esp. Scouting) and I enjoyed our brief interactions. My regret is that I did not get to know him better. An outstanding scientist, administrator and valuable member of his communitity. I only hope the same will be said of me. see more
