David,

The Paddlers have circulated the email announcing the recent Passing of your Mother.

My having also lost both parents years ago, in one’s own deepest sorrow, it seems like not much can really be said to relieve the loss or fill the gap. That is “Time’s” purpose.

Also from personal experience, no matter what one says or how one feels, one is never really "on my own" until both parents are Gone, whereafter there is no one to Answer to, and even as the successor family patriarch or matriarch, a deep sense of individual loneliness, and an increased familial responsibility, sets in, for who knows how long.

So if I were to wax eloquent, as you hear me do sometimes, while she is your loss, her gain is to Know about what perhaps we can only hope and pray is true: the Truth, that there really is Everlasting Life. We all shall Know, but those of us who remain, find this moment of loss heavier than it is for your Mother. We might nonetheless be comforted in knowing that she's on His Way, so with that Gospel Message in support, we would do well to know that she's all right; she's doing just fine. Having the time of her next life!

But how unique, and of that human-interest so lacking in other’s accounts, where it is described how your father was the one whom your Mother first met when he picked up eggs for GLF at her family farm. It had to start somewhere! And then, there was You. Among others.

Hope this is of some help, we shall look for you some day on the waters here.
