Obituary for Paulette Komanecky VanBenschoten

Paulette Komanecky VanBenschoten, 65, of Whitebridge Circle, Homer, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.
Paulette was a native of Auburn, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Leschak Komanecky. She has resided in the Cortland-Homer area since 1976. She was employed as an LPN at the Extended Care Facility of Cortland Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her husband Dale VanBenschoten of Homer, and her three sons, Gary Coon of Buffalo, Jeffrey (Charlene) Coon of Otisco, and Brian VanBenschoten of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by her brother Stephen (Susan) Komanecky of Auburn, her brother-in-law Pat Netti, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Benjamin Coon in 2010, and her sister Donna Netti.
Funeral services for Paulette will be at noon Thursday, from the Plis Funeral Home, and 12:30 P.M. in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St., Auburn.
