Obituary for Thomas W. Lynch

Thomas W. Lynch, husband of Inez Vanhout Lynch of Auburn passed away peacefully on June 23, 2016 at the age of 77 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Lynch was a life resident of Auburn, the son of the late Thomas W. and Mary Sullivan Lynch Sr. He met his wife when he was 16. They married in 1960, and raised 6 children together. He retired in 1997 from Auburn Spark Plug, following 37 years of service. He worked hard his whole life providing for his family. He was one of the kindest most humble men to all who knew him. His time was spent enjoying his days with his grandchildren, whether it was going to the park, ice cream, extra-long walks (disappearing for several hours sometimes0 or sitting at roller skating with quarters in hand. A favorite activity was the annual Father’s Day car show and riding in his son’s car in the Memorial Day parades. His pride and joy was his infamous red truck.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Inez Vanhout Lynch, his children Tina Maslona, Paul (Addie) Lynch, Mary Burns, Thomas Lynch III, Marilyn (Larry) Secor, and Robert (Brooke) Lynch. Also surviving are his grandchildren and great grandchildren Stephanie (Tom), Haleigh, Macenzie, Natalee and Jacson Reese, Michael (Gina), Riley, Kate, Allyssa and Macie Besner, Nicole Lynch (Chris), Madison, Matthew and Nicholas, Renee (Mike) Nathan, Thomas and Maxximus Quick, Lauren Secor (Brandon), Emma and Jace, John , John Besner, Brian Burns, Pamela Lynch, Jamie (Nathan) Dania and Calum, Victoria Secor, Josh, Sierra and Austin Perry.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday June 29, from 11 A.M. til 2 P.M. at the Plis Funeral Home 220 State Street. Services will follow at 2 P.M.. Burial will be in Throopsville Rural Cemetery.
