Cynthia A.  Gundersen (Ramsden)
Cynthia A. Gundersen, 63 of Auburn passed away Monday July 11, 2016 at Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Syracuse to the late Arthur and Barbara Ramsden, she graduated from Marcellus Central Schools and Syracuse University. She worked most of her adult life at Welch Allyn retiring in 2014. She was a member of Skaneateles United Methodist Church and was very active in the church choir. She was also a member of the Quilting Club and enjoyed spending time with its members.
Cynthia is survived by her sons Curtis (Karen) of Maryland, Michael of Georgia and Kevin of Auburn. She also leaves behind her sisters Robie (Jesse) Frost and Jennifer (Mark) Hopper; brothers Bruce (Ella) Ramsden and William (Jill) Ramsden and several nieces and nephews. She was also a special grandma to Dominick and Carrson.
A memorial service for Cynthia will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday July 23 at Skaneateles United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends may call on the family from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dominick Cuddleback Education Fund, C/O Curtis Gundersen 500 Springhill Rd., Rising Sun, MD. 21911, or to a charity of one’s choice.
