Obituary for Betty Hunt Timmons (Hunt)

Betty Hunt Timmons died Tuesday, November 1, on her 96th birthday at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Betty was born in Marietta, New York, November 1, 1920 to Beryl and Lester Hunt. She married Walter James Timmons on August 27, 1942 until his death on July 31, 1998. Betty was a member of the Camillus Seniors. She had one brother, Lester (Bob) Hunt who predeceased her.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary (Peggy) and Robert (Maya), ex-daughter-in-law Barbara. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Devin, Caitlin, and Lia, and great-grand child, Hunter.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday November 4 at the Plis Funeral Home. Calling hours are from 9:00 to 11:00 Friday prior to the services at the funeral home 33 North St., Marcellus. Burial to follow at Amber Cemetery.
