Susan J. Seabury, 76, of Marcellus passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at home. Born in Mentor, OH to the late Herman and Lucille Seborg, she then moved to the Syracuse area. Sue graduated from Wells College and was a dedicated social worker for Loretto, who had a passion for helping her patients. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who never missed any of her grandchildren’s events. She loved spending summers at Panther Lake, getting lost in a good book, expressing her creativity thru writing, playing cards with her grandchildren, and being with her family.
She is survived by her sons Jeff (Ann) of Manlius and Steve (Kim) of Old Chatham, NY; daughters, Shari (Tim) O’Shea of Cazenovia, and Carolyn (Chip) Van Derhoof of Marcellus. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren; Alexandra, Jamison, Mitchell, Maris and Baden Seabury, Eli and Emma O’Shea, Will and Piper Van Derhoof. She also leaves behind her loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gary E. Seabury on April 15, 2006.
Services for Sue will be private.
