Condolence: So saddened by the passing of your Mom. We enjoyed sitting with her at a lot of little league baseball games, as well as high school baseball games, watching our three sons along with Jeff and Steve, play for Marcellus. Gary was a great coach and Susan was a great cheerleader. I know your memories of her will always be wonderful as ours are of her, and your Dad.

Our condolences to your family.

Condolence: Jeff, Steve, Shari, and Carolyn,

Bucky and I express our heartfelt sympathy to you, your spouses and your children. These last few months must have been challenging and difficult for all of you. Yet, knowing your Mom, I am sure she helped make it easier for each of you to both support her and say goodbye. You all were her pride and joy. As an only child, she was so proud of the family she and your Dad had created, and you and your spouses have carried forward. She loved to share your accomplishments and those of her grandchildren. She was a

Your Mom was one of my best friends, going back to our Marcellus days, almost 40 years ago. It took me a while to understand her cryptic monologues – well let’s say after all these years, I still didn’t get some of them. Sports drew us together, and was reinforced through family, bridge club, college as adults, many seasons of Syracuse Stage, visits to our camp on Black Lake and annual “girls’ weekends” with Renee Wiles. What started out as a bus trip in 1982 to the outlet stores in Reading, transformed into exploring points of interest (mostly in the northeast) for educational enjoyment and shopping bargains. Your Mom was always the first to pack her suitcase and be ready to travel. If you find the book of our adventures I made for her, you might discover another side of your Mom -- the happy traveler. We took one more trip to the BIG APPLE in the fall of 2015. I am sharing a few of the photos from then, and several from our other adventures. This is how I will remember her.

For each of you, remember the fun and adventuresome times you shared together.

Love and hugs to you all. Karen
