Condolence: My brother Michael shared this sad news with me. Tim was my first cousin and as a boy on visits to Syracuse I can remember greating him in uniform and listening to the police scanner late at night in Aunt Helen's living room wondering if I'd hear his voice. He was a good and warm man to me always.
My thoughts and prayers to the extended Mumford family.

Condolence: Tim & Elizabeth,

I knew your father from Corcoran and have very fond memories of him. My brother Ed McLaughlin was good friends in high school with Tim and then worked together at the Syracuse Police Department.

Condolence: I am heartbroken to learn of the passing of this great man. His willingness to share of himself as an instructor at CC endeared him to many. If I develop half of the wisdom that he held, I will have lived a full life.

God Bless You, Professor.

Condolence: I am so very proud to say, I knew Tim Mumford. He was a kind, gentle warrior that I had known from a very young age. I watched him raise his children with love and admiration. A true police officer by day and a loving father at night. Timmy and Elizabeth you both know just how important and special you were and always will be to your father.
RIP Tim.....

Condolence: I was very saddened to read about Tim's passing. I worked with Tim at Cayuga Community College for a number of years. He was a great supporter of the then new Fulton Campus. I enjoyed his sense of humor and admired his dedication to his students. I missed him when he left Cayuga. His family will be in my prayers.
