Irene Bushallow Stanley, 92, of Camillus and formerly of Solvay and Auburn, died Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was the wife of the late Milton S. Stanley, Jr.
Born in Auburn, Mrs. Stanley was a life resident of the area. She was the daughter of the late Philip and Tekla Lukaschivich Bushallow. She retired from the Solvay School District where she was a cafeteria Aide at Lakeland Elementary School. She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
Mrs. Stanley is survived by her sons, Philip and Patricia Stanley of Jordan, and John and Rita Stanley of Auburn, her grandchildren Nicholas Carl Stanley and Mary Tekla Ann Stanley, her sister-in-law, Mary Bushallow, nieces and nephews, and her dog Malty.
She was predeceased by her husband Milton in 1990, her sisters Mary Hoffman, Catherine Gardner, Pauline Lehman, and Helen Pyle, and her brothers Daniel, Jon Gregory, Thomas and David Bushallow.
Services for Mrs. Stanley will be at 9 A.M. Tuesday, January 24, from the Plis Funeral Home, and 9:30 in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre.
Friends are invited to call Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St., Auburn.
