Obituary for Faith A. Davidson (Benjamin)

Faith A. Davidson (Benjamin)
Faith Ann (Benjamin) Davidson, of Onondaga, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February
17, 2017, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. Faith was born on April 3,
1965 in Sayre, PA and graduated from Candor High School in 1983. She spent most of her
years living in Candor, NY, until moving to the Syracuse area several years ago. As a
self-proclaimed “domestic engineer,” she took great pride in creating a warm & welcoming home
for her family & friends. Faith was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Auburn and lived her
life wholeheartedly for the Lord. She always had a beautiful smile and a hug for everyone she
met, and we couldn’t have asked for a better daughter, wife, mother and friend. We will miss her
dearly.
Faith is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Thomas Davidson, their son Joshua (Emily)
Davidson, and their grandchildren, Gavin and Chloe, who loved playing playdoh, building legos
and sharing root beer popsicles with “Grandma D”. She is also survived by her mother and best
friend, Marian Wise; her father and stepmother, Darl and Nancy Benjamin; father-in-law Garry
Davidson; brothers Carl (Rita) Benjamin and Kevin (Michelle) Benjamin & special nephew Clark.
Faith was predeceased by her stepfather, Ed Wise and mother-in-law Mary Ellen Davidson.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 23rd from 3pm to 6pm at Freedom Baptist
Church, 3324 E. Genesee St. Rd. Auburn, NY 13021, with funeral services to follow directly
after.
