Walter R.  Howlett
Walter Raleigh Howlett, 68, of Colorado passed away Tuesday December 26, 2017 in Marcellus. Born in Syracuse to Frank and Joyce Howlett, he was a graduate of Marcellus Central Schools. He was a self employed contractor owning his own company for 20 years. He was also a Life Member of the Marcellus Fire Department. He was a veteran of the US Marines serving during Viet Nam.
Walt leaves behind his daughters Kristy Howlett of Henrietta, NY and Gwen Garris of California, sons Harry and Adam Howlett and Kurt Brenner all of Denver, CO. and 3 granddaughters. He also leaves behind his parents, sisters Julie Holmes and Beth Fritz of Marcellus and Darleen Thompson of Marietta, brothers Dan Howlett of Alaska and Frank Howlett of Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a luncheon and Celebration of Walt’s life at 12 p.m. Saturday February 3 at the Marcellus Fire Department, 4242 Slate Hill Rd., Marcellus.
