Obituary for Julia Sroka (Maykovich)

Julia Sroka, 100, formerly of Perrine St., Auburn, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Commons on St. Anthony, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Sroka was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late John and Mary Okarma Maykovich. She was a retired food service worker with the Auburn school district, having worked at West Middle, and Auburn High School.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary Lee and William Spahn of Auburn, her son and his wife Ronald and Karen Sroka of Union Springs, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Sroka in 1996, her daughter Gloria Foster in 1991, and her son William Sroka in 2006.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sroka are private. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
