Obituary for Helen Murinka Raesler (Murinka)

Helen Murinka Raesler, 96, died peacefully Thursday, March 15, 2018, at her daughter’s residence.
Helen was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late John and Mary Stophen Murinka. She was a communicant of SS Peter & Paul Church, and a member of the Cymbrak-Fallat American Legion Auxiliary
Mrs. Raesler is survived by her daughters Pamela Farrell of Rochester and Cheryl (Richard) Sharples of Auburn, her grandchildren Becky Wegner, Jenna Wolf, Justin and Amanda Sharples and Lauren Traver, and three great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Barbara Murinka, her brother Peter Murinka, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George Raesler in 1989, her sisters Ann Murinka, Mary Bolak, Julia Walser and Patricia Maywalt, and her brothers Michael, Nicholas and Andrew Murinka.
Funeral services for Mrs. Raesler will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday, March 21, in SS Peter & Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn.
