Obituary for Robert Edward "Bob" Crysler

Robert Edward "Bob" Crysler, 67, of Marcellus passed away Tuesday November 4, 2014 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Auburn to the late Horace and Helen Crysler, Bob worked for the Village of Marcellus for 22 years retiring as Highway Supervisor in 2011. Bob also previously worked for Brillo Excavating for several years. Bob loved to hunt and was an avid outdoorsman. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his brother Elis Raymond Crysler.
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years the former Barbara "Bonnie" LoBello; daughters Deborah Crysler, Michele (Steve) Rivett and Kelly (Callahan) Amidon; sons Mark (Mary Beth), Mike, Greg (Kelly Jo), Scott (Andrea) and James; 17 cherished grandchildren Zach, Kelsey, Garrett, Ethan, Matthew, Jordyn, Joey, Noah, Skylar, Emily, Justin, Jenny, Bobbilynn, Callahan, Maddy, Harrison, and William; siblings Horace R. "Dick" (Sally) Crysler, Helen (Don) Newell, Dorothy (Rusty) Snell, Ronald (Karsi) Crysler, Dawn (Charlie) Amsbaugh and JoAnn Crysler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Bob will be from 12 noon- 3 p.m. on Saturday November 8, at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus. Services will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Harrison Crysler Fund, 7 E. Main St., Marcellus, NY 13108.
